Questions

Is the signature legally recognised?

It is when your certificate comes from a recognised provider, such as a qualified trust service.

Can I use my citizen card or another smart card?

No. Certificates kept on smart cards can’t be used from a web page. You need the certificate as a .p12 or .pfx file.

Is my certificate uploaded?

No. The certificate and its password are used on your device only.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs inside this page, on your own device. Your files are never sent to PDF’R’US or anyone else, so there is nothing to delete afterwards. Once a tool has loaded, it keeps working with the internet switched off.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no daily limit and no watermark added to your files.
