Questions

Which comments are included?

Sticky notes, highlights, underlines, strike-outs, text boxes and other mark-ups with a comment, made here, in Acrobat or in other PDF apps. Replies are added under the comment they answer.

How is the section found?

From the document’s headings: each comment gets the nearest numbered or bold heading above it. Check it before sending, as some layouts can confuse it.

Which page numbers are used?

The PDF’s own page labels when it has them, such as iv or 12. Otherwise pages are counted from the start of the file, so an unnumbered cover counts as page 1.

What does the sheet look like?

A cover sheet with the project, document, revision, sendings and overall status, and a comments sheet with No., Section, Page, Date, Name, Status, Comment, Response and Reply, a status list for each comment and a count of open comments.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs inside this page, on your own device. Your files are never sent to PDF’R’US or anyone else, so there is nothing to delete afterwards. Once a tool has loaded, it keeps working with the internet switched off.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no daily limit and no watermark added to your files.
